My favorite experience today was had lunch at Claudia's home. It is a wonderful time to see and feel their different culture. I was in a position to see how people cook in the kitchen, which is interesting for me to look details of their cooking procedures.
The most exciting part is that I ate the cuy, little guniea pig, they are so delicious!!! I want to eat again!!!I feel sorry for that because I know they are cute when they are alive, but I can't resist the temptation of delicious food.
I also enjoy the music that three people were playing during the lunch. I brought the CD and also asked them for signing it. (~_~) I will give it to my mom, she love this kind of music and can play it in the car when she is driving~~

For the culture, I felt most is about the local people. After today's tour, I strongly feel in an intensified form the special simplicity and kindness in the citizens here. For example, when I was shopping at the Otavalo Market, I was lost with Ziling. There was a man particularly keen to tell me where Ziling was going. He doesn't know English but still uses body language to show me her direction. That was so nice and warm. I bought a scarf from his store to thanks.

Everybody here has been very friendly and hospitable and made us feel very welcome.Local people here of this land for generations reproduction, growth, and hope in good faith interpretation of simplicity and morals, passion, and optimism in order to continue the ancient custom.

So far, I haven't felt ethnocentrism. I pretty enjoy the culture here, and every place we visited are beautiful.
From my experience, I found everyone to be extremely friendly and welcoming. It is easy to communicate with them, even we don't understand each other well, but I still feel they are willing to talk with you and help you.
I am so happy that the food in here is fantastic than I thought. To be honest, the food in Ecuador is better than U.S. >_<I am sorry for saying that to Americans, but it is true~~
