According to the folkloric ballet, I have learned that Ecuadorian really express their heartfelt thanks to the food. Besides, there are some dance that are about humans relationship, which represent Ecuadorian respect to each other. For example, the dance about male and female relationship shows men's respect to their wives' working for the family and women's respect to their husbands' hardworking. Therefore, I was very impressed by the dance that shows daily activities between husbands and their wives. Especially when I saw the part that was about the sex among couples, it made me realize the big difference between Chinese culture and Ecuadorian culture. In my opinion, we Chinese always feel hesitate to mention sex especially as an art form. However, this dance, for me, really reflect humans daily life. Ecuadorian are more focus on reflecting the real in their culture.

Dance, as an universal art form of nonverbal communication, uses its body movements to express the themes of the dance and individuals' emotions. For example, as audience, we do not need to hear that dancers, who are acting as wives and husbands, say they love each. When they were dancing with their partners, their reactions show the close relationship between them.
